There are many little ways to enlarge your child's world. Love of books is the best of all.

One To One Children's Literacy Program

The only way to learn to read is by reading. The only way to get better at reading . . . is by reading!

Our goal is to help turn struggling readers into confident, capable readers.

When children begin to fall behind because of a learning disability, they receive professional assistance to help them catch up to their peers.

However, some children do not have a learning disability. They just need extra time to learn reading strategies, and lots of opportunity to practice so that they can strengthen their skills..

The One To One program provides that opportunity with targeted, sustained tutoring.

Would you like to support our efforts?

We are seeking funds to help provide

  • books for our One To One libraries
  •  training manuals for our tutors, and
  • information booklets for the children to share with their families.

If this sounds like a project your business or organization could support, please contact us for more information.

Are you interested in volunteering as a tutor? Contact us for the next training session. Have a look at the Volunteer Tutors page (use the link on the left), and contact us for more information.
